Booking Policies
Before booking your treatment, please review the following important policies to ensure a smooth experience
Deposit Policy
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking any service of the value £20 or more. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours will require full payment. If you’re booking via DM, the deposit can be taken via bank transfer but if you’re booking via the Fresha booking system, your deposit will be taken automatically by the platform. The remaining cost can be paid via cash, bank transfer or the booking app once your appointment is complete.
Late Policy
A 15-minute grace period is offered; after 15 minutes, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or will be considered a no-show.
Patch Testing
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first lash lift or henna brow treatment (GBN Signature Brows) at Gee's Beauty Nook, regardless of whether you have had a lash lift or henna brows with a different beautician previously.
After booking your lash lift/brows, please schedule a free patch test appointment with me (it’ll take just 2 minutes!) at least 48 hours before your treatment time. If you’re booking via the Fresha booking system, you can schedule a patch test by selecting the free ‘Patch Test’ service and choose a time that is convenient for you.
If a patch test has not been completed at least 48 hours before the appointment, I unfortunately will not be able to go ahead with the treatment and the appointment will be cancelled.
Pregnant Clients
If you are pregnant, please consult your GP or midwife before booking any treatment.
Spray tans are not suitable during the first trimester. After the first trimester, spray tans can be carried out, however results may vary due to hormonal changes.
Lash lifts are not recommended during pregnancy and therefore Gee’s Beauty Nook will not go ahead with this treatment during this time.
Please inform me prior to your appointment if you are pregnant so we can ensure your treatment is safe and appropriate.
